Heads up if anybody has wanted to send in anything to BGS. Last chance at these prices. In Feb., the prices go up. One of the guys over on Blowout who has done these in the past is doing one final one over the next few days. If you've ever checked into doing this yourself, you well know how crazy the costs can get with shipping/insurance/grading/return shipping/return insurance... etc. Here's the post if interested. Man.... crickets in here. Tumbleweeds. Perhaps the icy chill of the northeast has kept everyone away. Doing a show this upcoming weekend. Vet's Memorial in Columbus. If you're nearby, stop in! There's always a bunch of vintage as well as new stuff. .... Nothing coming out soon that interests me, anybody else picking up the upcoming products? Saw some National Treasures promos were posted. Look to have a really nice design for some insert sets featuring veterans and retired players. I am interested to see if it just ends up being redemption fest 2013, though. .... Soo, yeah, the Ray Rice thing kinda worked out. Managed to move 4 of his auto'd RCs in the last 2 days. .... Who ya got for the Super Bowl?? Tough call but, when it comes down to things like this, I go with experience. Gotta go Ravens, though I do think it'll be close. Something like 31-30. A defensive play will probably be the difference.... Had just a few cards come in last week, but I already posted those so, to keep things interesting, here's a new addition to my sketch card collection from the newly released Cryptozoic - Batman release.  That's all I got. |

Hey Brian, hope ya'll are staying warm up there. We are here in Tejas. It was in the 70s today! ;D Good luck with the show. Will have to check out those NT promos. Will probably go for the Ravens but just hope it is a good game. Sweet Batman sketch! I should try for matching Spidey and Green Goblin so I can frame them. Here's my latest to go with the matching Gates! ;D  |

speaking of future HOFers that are cheap to pick up, marvin Harrison cards are hella cheap, I wil lprobably stock up on some of his decent stuff and use them for bait once he gets that call

WR's get ZERO love from collectors, even when inducted. The bump in his prices will be minimal, at best. QB's are it when it comes to pricing increases for HOF. Sometimes defensive players will see some good attention, though, especially if they haven't signed a lot over their career. Believe me, I've done it before. I stuck with QB's and a few RB's (Marshall Faulk). Faulk only worked out because he hadn't signed for many sets over his career. |

^ What's the LeBron numbered to? Isn't that a parallel? If so, it appears it should be graded. Those corners are lookin' 9.5 worthy, unless the back edges aren't as nice. Either way, great hit! always nice when you hit something you plan to keep in PC.

People who have pulled good looking sketches of the female characters either kept them or they disappeared from feebay on BIN's almost instantly. I went the other route and have a Poison Ivy being commissioned by my favorite artist.  |
